The Class of 2015 Celebrates the 134th Founders Day
at Spelman College Through Philanthrop

Yesterday, the Class of 2015 celebrated their final Founders Day Convocation. Over 65 percent of them participated in the Senior Legacy Campaign by making a gift to support scholarships. To acknowledge their contribution, they wear a Spelman Blue Tassel with their graduation regalia. View their video now as they show their support to their Alma mater.

Join your Spelman sisters and make your gift today. There are over 14,499 alumnae who have the opportunity to make a gift in support of the 1881 Challenge.

You may also make your gift by calling us at 1-866-512-1690 until 9 pm tonight, and on Saturday from 12 pm to midnight.

Every alumna's gift represents a drop of blue paint on the 1881 canvas. As our alumnae participation rate increases to 50 percent, the blue line will rise until the 1881 is completely shaded blue. This year, all gifts designated to the Annual Fund will support scholarships and help deserving students complete their education. Help us reach our goal by making a gift of $18.81, $188.10 or $1881 today.

Click here to make your gift and enter 1881 Challenge in the comments section or by calling the Office of Annual Giving at 866-512-1690. Spread the word! Encourage your Spelman friends, classmates or colleagues to support the 1881 Challenge by Founders Day, April 11, 2015.

We CAN accomplish this goal, one alumna at a time. If you have already made your gift, we sincerely thank you!
Alumna Spotlight

I realize that we help pave the way for others by giving back. I cannot stand as an example of leadership if I do not participate in the activities that build a great leader, most notably, giving back. I give because many have given to me.
